New CD “SILENTLY DAWNING” to be released on March 31st; Czech Tour in April
David Dorůžka’s new CD was recorded in October 2007 in Studio Svárov. It features Swedish singer Josefine Lindstrand and Polish bassist Michal Baranski and drummer Lukasz Zyta, and consists of 10 of David’s originals written on poems or texts by Emily Dickinson, Jiří Orten and Josefine Lindstrand. Included is a 16-page booklet with photos by Magda Slezarová and English-Swedish-Czech translations of all poems and lyrics sung on the CD.

The CD is available worldwide at www.cdbaby.com and distributed in the Czech and Slovak Republics exclusively by Sony BMG Music Entertainment. It can also be ordered in the Animal Music e-shop.

In April the quartet of Dorůžka, Lindstrand, Baranski and Zyta will be touring in Czech Republic. The band will perform at two major festivals and will give three concerts in Prague, each of them conceived in a different way.
